The Italian Cypress tree which can be tall and slim and Leyland Cypress which is commonly used in hedges and privacy screens are some of the common types. Bald Cypress is also special, as it is a deciduous tree, and it grows well in the wet climate. Coastal areas are in favor of the Monterey Cypress. The types differ in size, climatic adaptation, and rate of growth and hence can fit into the landscaping requirements.
