I’ve noticed over the last few days that my 2017 Wrangler makes this awful grinding sound from the front whenever I brake moderately, and I’m pretty sure the pads are down to metal. I’d normally just take it to any random garage near my place in Mussafah, but I’ve had bad experiences with cheap pads that squeal after a month or rotors that warp in no time. Since I do a fair bit of desert driving on weekends, I need someone who actually knows the difference between standard and heavy-duty brake components for Jeeps. I came across a page mentioning an Expert Jeep Brake Service Abu Dhabi and I’m wondering if anyone here has tried a place that specializes in Wranglers and Cherokees – somewhere that uses proper Mopar or high-quality aftermarket pads and actually beds them in correctly. Also, do they usually resurface the rotors or just slap new pads on? I don’t want to pay dealer prices but I’m willing to spend a bit more for work that lasts. Would really appreciate any recommendations from folks who’ve had their brakes done properly around Abu Dhabi. Cheers.
